General information
Level of education held: long cycle programme, full qualification at Polish Qualification Framework and European Qualification Framework level seven
Duration of studies according to study programme: five and a half (5.5) years (11 semesters)
Admission criteria: upper secondary school leaving examination (“Matura”examination) in biology and chemistry – extended syllabus, separately for each subject. Successful admission procedure, assessed on the basis of candidate’s results in four subject groups (group 1 – biology, group 2 – chemistry, group 3 – foreign languages, group 4 – mathematics) at “Matura” examination. The final result of admission procedure is the total of the candidate‘s subject results multiplied by applicable weights, selected in the most advantageous – for candidate – way.

Access to further education: the graduate may apply for doctoral studies (PhD) or any kind of post-graduate education
Academic and (if possible) professional qualifications held: qualifications and professional skills are laid down in the Act on Veterinary Surgeons and veterinary chambers dated 21. December 1990 (Dz. U. (Journal of Laws) 02.187.1567 with further amendments
